Preheat the oven to 150 °C
Preparation of the sauce: Cook the garlic and the onion separately, add date balsamic, broth, basil and mint and let it cook a little bit.
Preparation of the meat:
season the meat with salt and pepper. Then roast it in oil and remove it from the pan as soon as it turns brown.
Cover the meat with the prepared sauce and cook it for 2 to 3 hours in the oven at 150 °C.
Let it cool down for 10 minutes as soon as it’s completely cooked. Remove the garlic and onion from the meat’s surface and mix it with the sauce. Now pour the sauce back over the meat and cut and serve the gigot.
